The Bamboo Forest, while for many people it was merely one of the various forests that inhabited the planet known as Earth it was something far more precious to Reikiko. For the girl this was where everything had begun. Perhaps it was for that reason that after the events at Avalon the child had retreated to an old sanctuary of hers within the forest. Only a handful of people tended to venture this far into the Bamboo Forest, partly because of the threat of wild predators, but also because of the rumors that powerful and elusive warriors tended to seek the solitude of the forest's deepest reaches to further advance their training. On this particular day Reikiko had traveled to the forest for two reasons: The first one was to tell two individuals about a victory that had personally involved them for so long. The second reason? It was simply to seek the companionship of some old friends.
As she arrived at the spacious clearing, the opening of the huge cave up ahead Reikiko's gaze was cast down at her small hands, and for a moment she thought back about the things that were haunting her. Ever since she had used that cursed power, that tainted blessing she had reverted to this monstrous form, a form that in her opinion was grotesque. How could she remain close to those she loved when she was a creature that would rightly be considered disgusting and looked upon with disdain? However, before she could continue to haunt herself with those thoughts a familiar voice came from behind her.
"What are you standing around for idiot? Come inside already."
The harsh words that were spoken carried a rather weird sense of kindness in them, the light pat on her crowned head causing the child to look upwards in confusion. It was Aspergia, the female Saiyan who had chosen to dwell within the Bamboo Forest. Two years ago she abandoned her people to chase after the murderer of her brother. According to her knowledge Yuriko used to be friends with the Saiyan and her brother, the three of them seemingly bonding quite well due to how they shared the ideal that power meant everything. However, Yuriko's affection for Aspergia's brother had led to the bio-android to betray them by absorbing the source of those powerful emotions. It was of course that act that led Yuriko to believe that by experiencing great sources of emotional feelings, and devouring those that cause them that true power is obtained.
She had met Aspergia during her training within the Bamboo Forest, after she was left waiting on Scargot to pick her up and the girl's curiosity had driven her to venture outside the area the cottage she had been staying at. Nevertheless, while initially they had been enemies, their rivalry seemed to turn into friendship when the two of them came to share the same goal: The death of Yuriko.
The Homunculus followed her friend into the cave, the familiar faintly burning flame flickering in the darkness and while the Saiyan sat down beside the fire Reikiko decided to take a seat on a rock at the opposite side. For a moment an eerie silence lingered in the air, when suddenly the Saiyan spoke, her tone a bit softer than usually.
"I heard about what happened to your home. A pity, it sounded like a pleasant place. Not the type of spot a Saiyan like me would dwell in, but still a nice place nonetheless."
Reikiko nodded her head feebly, a soft sigh escaping her lips. If only she had returned to Earth earlier, then perhaps she could have prevented Avalon's destruction. However, she had come here for a purpose, and after taking a moment to gather her thoughts on how to best convey her message the girl finally spoke.
"It's done Aspergia... Yuriko is gone."
Aspergia's gaze softened a little, and while she grabbed a bottle of sake she mused out loud while raising it into the air.
"I'll toast to that! May my brother and Tamako finally rest in peace knowing that monster is gone forever."
The word monster seemed to cause Reikiko to cringe lightly, her sorrowful gaze and gloomy demeanor easily betraying there was something wrong. Aspergia took a long sip at the bottle, taking a moment to savor the taste before she asked in a curious tone.
"What's the matter? Don't tell me you feel bad about killing her? She might had been your sister but she was a monster that didn't deserve to live."
A moment passed as Reikiko shook her head in response. She didn't feel any regret about killing Yuriko, but it was something else that bothered her intensely.
"What about me? Since I'm a monster, does that mean my existence should be purged just because I was made to be like this?!"
The Saiyan frowned for a moment before she suddenly laughed heartily, while declaring in a tone that was filled with confidence.
"Is that what worries you Reikiko? Just because you look like her you think you are a monster like your sister? That way of thinking clearly fits the way you look: like a child. It's not your appearance that labels one as a monster, but their actions. Certainly you might had done some bad things but, on terms of evilness you're pretty mild. Besides if you're worried about such things, just ensure your good deeds surpass the bad ones."
The Homunculus seemed to consider those words carefully, when suddenly she found Aspergia rising from the ground, moving over toward her and with a pull forced her upwards, the arms that wrapped her into a bear hug causing the girl to squirm and flail in surprise.
"Hah! Besides you look and act way too adorable to be considered a monster!"
The cheeks of the child turned a crimson color as she was finally released, and after a moment of catching her breath she mumbled in annoyance.
"That's totally not a Saiyajin attitude!"
The Saiyan chuckled before nodding in response, explaining her actions with a grin.
"Someone had to do what Tamako would have done at that moment. Anyway, go and visit your master, I'm sure she will be pleased to see you again."
Reikiko nodded her head in response while she rushed out of the cave, and after several nimble bouncing hops lifted her body into the trees, grasping a red-colored fruit from among them before continuing along the forest toward her master's grave. However, she could sense several presences in the forest, and part of her wondered if there had been some people exploring the forest. Nevertheless, while she was holding the apple inside her hands she couldn't help but think about what the Saiyan had said.
Perhaps she merely had to avoid using that wicked power, so that she could just remain an adorable Reikiko!
-- Reikiko is in her base/child form, and currently corrupted into a bio/monster version (if you need a picture of her appearance, send me a message) This topic is open to anyone who wants to meet Rei, just note that there will be some background lore explanations and perhaps a little adventure in store for those who join. But it's all fun and games, so you're free to come and go when you want to.

[Thread pl 8,100] Green had been exploring the forest recently taking some time to let the sadness of what he saw happened to the north fade from his little mind. His animal friends the few he met before and new ones he conversed with now and again. Patting them and sharing food. He scared away the mean animals with sharp fangs when they snooped around to protect his furry friends in the forest. He was petting one of them when he heard something strange bouncing around high up in the tree line. Leaves lightly scattering towards the ground from the tops being altered from something moving. A few of his animal friends hearing it as they snapped to attention. Taking in various directions seeking shelter and to hide. Survival instincts that kicked in to keep them safe from the unknowns around them.
Green scrambled to his little clawed feet digging them into the ground trying to call out to his friends but they were already running quickly away before he could get so much as a sound or two out. Sighing lightly looking up and trying to chase after what he was seeing. Barely able to make out the shape in the distance. Green looked to the trees giving chase for awhile on the ground. Leaving a trail behind him that looked almost like chicken scratches from his clawed feet leaving a trail.
"Kek...Ku. Lady...." It would say in a lightly childish and raspy voice.
Green would finally after a bit of running and kicking past tall brush catch up seeing more clearly the strange looking girl up high in the air. Clutching something in her hand as he looked on scratching his chin with one of his clawed nails curiously watching this new person. She wasn't really looking like anything he'd see before nor was she large and scary looking like many other of the mean people of earth that judged him. She was small like the nice ones and looked interesting. It find himself stuck a bit staring at her at first. Her body had strange armor just like his in a way he thought. That looked like natural plates which lead him to knock on his chest as the hardened natural flesh that served as a form of natural armor that healed when injured. Sorta like the turtles of earth. Now there were really kind creatures!
Green dug his claws into the trees and began to climb rather silently keeping quiet as he tried to quickly gain height. Wanting to get up to the creature that caught his fancy. He worried if he wasn't quick she may run off. Perhaps with luck she'd be like the small girl at the base or the kind android. Strange people were proving to be the most kind lately. They didn't yell or strike him when he helped himself to their food or snacks. Or just because apparently they didn't like him naturally which he was never sure why they acted as such at first meetings.
The tree he was climbing left strange claw marks from his three fingered hands and toes that were like claws at the end scratching in a path that let you see where he climbed up from. He tried to observe her carefully at first seeing what she had. So this was one of those trees! It made sense now why she'd want these. They were delicious and the forest was filled with them if you knew where to look. The tree would lightly rustle as he pulled a few off quickly feeling a arm with them and sitting on a branch. Reaching a hand out to her as he sat in a rather relaxed fashion. The little saibamen wearing his little blue shorts but no backpack today. Offering a apple as he tried to speak. He'd been working on it of late to perhaps try an communicate easier.
"Hek Kek,..KeKiiii,. He Heh,,...Hiiiii" Offering the apple trying to get her attention smiling with his big grin and red eyes. Waving a hand and dropping a few apples as if to say hello"Kheh...Pretty!" He'd follow up with. Appearing admiring and friendly.

It didn't take long for Reikiko to notice the approaching presence. While she was aware of the fact she was being pursued, the one chasing her didn't seem to hold any significant threat to her, at least the strength of their aura was way too low for her to be properly wary. However, she had just stopped nearby one of the apple trees on the route to her master's grave, a decision that allowed the pursuer to catch up with her. Reikiko couldn't help but look up at the lower branches of the tree, initially a look of excitement in her eyes as she was about to reach for one of the apples, yet a moment passed when suddenly that excitement turned into curiosity as a green creature, one she identified as a Saibaman landed on the branch and offered her an apple. The initial response of the girl was to take a step backwards, instinctively on her guard after recalling the stories she had been told about the behavioral pattern of those creatures.
"You're not about to hug me and explode, right?"
Rather warily she eyed the fruit the creature was offering, and the first thought in her mind was that this certainly was the most peculiar specimen she had ever seen. In the end it seemed quite docile and friendly, not to mention who could even in all honesty say that they had met a Saibaman who was offering them an apple?
"Not to mention he is wearing shorts... Perhaps I should offer him some Zeni for a wig and a tuxedo suit..."
A soft whisper came from the girl as she looked into the face of the Saibaman, still confused about the gentle attitude of the creature. Whoever had planted this one either must had been scammed or had some wicked mental attitude problems to raise a creature made for killing into such a docile pet. Hell, it was likely too stupid to even properly disguise its blood lust! Nope, this was one hell of a weird Saibaman. Still, the greeting and the tribute of an apple seemed to have left a favorable impression upon her, and when one of the red-colored fruits dropped toward the grass her tail swished forwards, the stinger nimbly piercing one of the fruits, and while it started to suck out its content she reached with her hand toward the one he had extended, seemingly grasping the apple lightly.
"Thank you, I'll make sure to savor it."
And as if to show her appreciation she took a small bite of the fruit. Certainly she had grown used to eating normally, but absorbing things directly into her body was still the most delicious way to feed herself. It made the flavor be much stronger, and linger far longer than tasting through her mouth. Still, the words that were spoken by the Saibaman caused her cheeks to flush up into a bright crimson color, having just finished the apple while she fidgeted lightly, seemingly absently rubbing her hands together in a bashful showing of timidness.
"Y-You think so? It's not often someone describes this form as pretty."
It took her a few moments to calm down properly, looking back at the Saibaman while she asked, her tone clearly betraying the childish curiosity of the girl.
"I haven't heard about any Saibaman who are capable of learning how to speak during my stay on Vegeta. Perhaps you're one who has ascended beyond the limited capacities of their kin. Do you have a name? Saiba Boy would sound a bit condescending and rude."
She smiled briefly, the blush on her cheeks fading away while her azure-colored eyes looked at him with a hint of interest and fascination. She was always intrigued by those who were considered special or different from their species, especially those who had the potential to become interesting or powerful. And a Saibaman who wore shorts certainly qualified as interesting.
Still, the fact it had been so long since she had absorbed her favorite fruit had taken its effect on her. That sweet delicious flavor of the apple that was being sucked into her tail was accompanied by a small squirm of her body, her cheeks flushing up once more while the apple started to shrivel slowly. This truly was an euphoria, and when the shriveled skin was the only thing left of the fruit, she gently tossed it into the grass, confident a wild animal would finish it later.
"Mmm~ It's been so long since I absorbed an apple. That sweet and delicious flavor is one I'll never be able to grow tired of. I pity those who can't enjoy such experiences."
However, realizing she had voiced her thoughts out loud the girl grinned sheepishly while waving a hand lightly in embarrassment. She likely would have confused the Saibaman, so in the end she simply explained with a grin.
"Don't mind what I just said. My kin is able to absorb things directly into their body. For example if you were to eat an apple with your mouth, the amount of sensations you'd feel would be limited to the senses your mouth uses. For me the sensations I feel by absorbing are a lot more intense to the point that from one apple I'd take as much joy savoring the taste as you would enjoy from a whole basket."
After she finished her explanation her gaze briefly drifted toward the side, pondering if she should have continued. No, there was no reason to rush things. This Saibaman was quite fascinating, not to mention she hadn't heard about their existence on Earth till now, and he was actually kind of cute! So perhaps it wouldn't hurt for her to wait a little longer before she would continue on her trip. In the end her master would surely not mind waiting a bit because she met someone interesting. Perhaps a new friend even? Tamako did love interesting people, to the point she would likely have tried to adopt the little creature into becoming her pet. That was the type of peculiar woman the previous Crane Hermit was.

She stepped back which caused greens head to tilt lightly on a swivel. His reaction was to lean forward a bit more dropping a few more apples and resorting to place the few he had left on his lap in sorta a small bunch as his free hand dug into the tree. He had to ensure he didn't go tumbling to the ground as he did when dealing with that crazy doctor and the coconut fiasco of the southern islands... That poor coconut. He while latched into the tree would lean forward about as far as he could while offering the apple. Shaking his head at the though of going boom boom. Not sure how to answer however rolling the idea in his head trying to think of what the words were he'd need to use.
"No...Kuuuu. No bang...Er..Kikike. No..BOOM!. Me no boom... yea." He'd say trying to reassure her shaking its head up and down as if nodding to confirm. Its voice a little unsure as it wasn't sure if was speaking correctly. It could understand just find but matching the vocals itself was still a light challenge as it was trying to learn from what it picked up while out and about around other people.
Its eyes watched as well as when one of the falling fruits was skewered. The tail caught his eyes as he looked down his claw coming loose from the tree as he nearly fell trying to get a good angle scrambling for a moment kick lightly till it got a good grasp once more. It didn't favor falling from heights had didn't know to walk on air like these people he kept meeting. He still though after nearly falling and she accepted the apple leaned forward not really seeming to note he'd nearly fallen. Sniffing the air as the scent of the sucked clean apple left a sweet apple scent in the air.
"They are...Hrgh. Sweet? chewy. Munch munch! Yes...Keeeeek. Tail... You eat tail... Er...Kuuuu. EAT with Tail!" Immediately correcting itself. Making a small sound like perhaps a animal made when it made a mistake or feared lash from master. Trying its best to communicate. When it made error it looked worried. Eyes flickering to her hands and tail as well as her feet now and again. Some part of it fearful lightly since it was unnatural to be treated... cruelly at times. But so far she was kind and he was easily won over by such a attitude.
When she ate with her mouth as well he found himself only more curious. So she ate food in more then one way. He had no tail he though looking behind him wiggling his butt for a moment. Only the hard plates on his body like armor covered his little green posterior. But regardless he found a smile forming hopping up on the limb tucking the apples in a small hole in the tree as not to lose more but standing on his two legs as the creature stood up now on the branch. Wobbling a bit at first but sticking claws in the bark again to get a strong hold.
He thought on her words though his free hand tapping his chin lightly as if thinking. Name? Well he had a name but not really more like a name given to him by the little people. He'd pat at his chest lightly and nod while speaking his voice gravely and childish in its own way. Seemingly searching for the words with occasional pauses in his speech.
"My name... Green. Mr. Green... I am alone. I not know...Kekkikiki..." Trying to think what to say. Before he managed to find the words after a moment of thought. "Not know others like... Like me. Keeeeek. Alone..." Looking off too the side for a moment. There wasn't exactly many stray saiba's running around and it didn't know they were usually dispatched with extreme prejudice usually. So as far as it knew it was just alone unsure how to find others. "But! Yes... Very pretty. Tail Pretty!" Its nose sniffing the air again.
However as it did occasionally this was more to remember a scent. Her scent as he did with people he met like the small boy Etoru. An Seka the girl hero! It made it easier to know when they were near if the air carried the smell a good distance and you knew what to smell for. He watched her move about lightly shivering or perhaps wiggling as she threw the apple to the side. Discarding what remained. He'd use his free hand that wasn't dug into the bark to pull his shorts up a little. AS you can imagine saiba sizes are non existence so they weren't always perfectly secure. She spoke of her tail and how she could absorb and it made... Well he wasn't quite sure what she meant but in his mind it was perhaps a way of making the food taste better. He could only imagine a whole basket of apples from one apple that was like... if you had a few apples.
Well in its calculation it seemed to confused itself trying to count on its fingers of the hand that was free but seemed to lose itself in confusion for a moment or two at this apple equation. "Tail mouth? Eat food! Can eat meatsies?" Inquiring if it could eat meat too. It didn't appear to have a large end but more like a stinger. "Fishies? Me like Fishies. You like??" Giving a nod as if to imply Fish were just as good as apples. Almost as if it was some great discovery of learning one could eat them. A hand reaching behind him patting his butt lightly. "No tail...But But!" Flailing the arm lightly. Extremely enthusiastic given this was perhaps the longest conversation it had had in.. well ever.
A hand patted his chest the green plated area that was lightly different from the rest of his body then his hip as well before pointing at her armored area or at least what he seemed to perceive as armor. "No tail But but...Kiiii. You... Like me? Hard hard!" Knocking lightly on the organic armor at his chest. Making light tap tap sound to show it was armor or worked like armor. "Like me? Like me! Friend yes? Green? Name you? Name you?" It asked inquiring a name. He seemed to wobble a little more keeping his balance on the tree branch. His pointing ant occasional hand gestures trying to mimic human conversation was occasionally throwing him off balance. At least with his height the branch held him just fine as he wasn't really all that much in weight. His feet however were occasionally scratching into it with the clawed toes it possessed. Not realizing it may have been weakening its stability.

It seemed the her concern about the Saibaman possibly exploding was clearly misplaced. While she doubted the creature would be able to create an explosion powerful enough to become a threat to her, she still preferred to know if someone their hugs came with an explosive property or not. Nevertheless, when the Saibaman continued to speak, the term only loosely associated with the sounds it was making in between the audible words the child couldn't help but notice a certain concern from the creature, almost borderline fear. From the short time she spend among the Saiyan civilization Reikiko had been taught that Saibaman were often scientifically created creatures with the intention of serving as disposable footmen for their people. To most Saiyan they likely were seen as nothing but minions, simple pets that were disposable once they had run out of uses. She could imagine their treatment would likely have been poor at best.
"Indeed, I guess you could say that I consume things with my tail."
The girl's response seemed slightly absent-minded, her thoughts still occupied by the social standing of the Saibaman. Disposable toys, it was a tragic fate for one like this creature to possess and yet it was not uncommon for this to happen. To make matters worse, it wasn't the Saiyan civilization who was to blame for this, because she knew other people who were responsible of the same cruelty, that were much closer to her. While her tail swished back and forth the girl pondered about the name of the Saibaman, and after a short moment of consideration smiled calmly at him, her tone slightly more cheerful as she spoke.
"Midori? I guess I can see the reason why they would call you such a name. Midori... Green... Mi-Mi, it could have been a cute nickname if it didn't sound so feminine. Then again, Mido sounds rather awkward so perhaps I shall call you Midori, unless you'd prefer Boomkins."
The girl grinned briefly at the joking remark she added at the end of her response. Still, the return of the compliments had caught her a little off-guard, causing her to turn her gaze away from a moment while considering its next question. The girl considered the question carefully, not simply because it was complicated but because she wanted to explain it in a way the little Saibaman would be able to comprehend.
"I could eat meat if I found the need for it. You see, my stinger is able to release a special substance."
She paused for a moment, lowering a hand toward one of the fruits that had collapsed, and while she picked it up, balancing it on the palm of her hand the girl brought her tail forwards, bending it lightly in the air above her hand and slowly the tip rested above the fruit. She paused, just long enough for the Saibaman to notice what was about to happen next. A purple-colored liquid seemingly dripped from the tip of the tail, a single droplet falling onto the apple's skin, and suddenly the red layer of skin from the fruit had started to dissolve, revealing the juicy yellowish inside of the apple that she took a bite from, continuing her explanation.
"Even solid substances like meat and fish could be eaten by weakening the protective layers around it. My stinger is more than sharp enough to pierce most things, but I vastly prefer the sweetness of apples."
Indeed, apples were on top of her preferred type of foods, and yet the thought about apples was quickly disregarded when the Saibaman patted his rear and exclaimed at having no tail. Of course Saibaman didn't have a tail! Still, the clumsy declaration made her stifle a laugh, and when it looked at her carapace the girl nodded her head sheepishly, a hand tapping her own armored chest, a soft 'cling' sound coming from it.
"Usually it would be very hard. My carapace is a natural armor, meant to protect me. However, by infusing my body with energy I can alter it, from turning into an armor that covers my entire body, to become more soft and smooth. It's quite special."
However, when it had asked if she was like him, the words that were innocently spoken caused her to think back about what haunted her earlier. In a way she was like this Saibaman. Her mother had created the Homunculi with the sole intention of serving as the footmen of her army in the war against the Kaioshin. Nevertheless, even if she was powerful her existence had always been considered disposable. Even now she had to deal with the insecurities of who considered her a true friend, and who was merely out to use her. Was she someday going to be cast aside, considered disposable like this Saibaman, by the very people she considered her friends and more? Simply because she was created like this...
"I guess we are indeed alike Midori, and if you don't mind having a being like me as your friend then considered your request for our friendship acknowledged and accepted. My name is Reikiko. Rei-ki-ko. However, if that's too difficult to pronounce simply Rei is fine. A pleasure to meet you Midori."
She smiled kindly at the Saibaman, yet her gaze shifted toward the tree branch, wondering how long it would be able to support the Saibaman's weight. As funny as it would be to see the Saibaman tumble off the branch, she did feel a slight concern for the creature's safety, so in the end she started speaking again, explaining in a surprisingly gentle tone.
"You might want to get off that branch, I don't think it will last much longer."
And while those words were spoken her tail gently swished once more, piercing one of apples on the ground and pulled it backwards, her tail remaining to sway back and forth behind her. She had to admit this Saibaman was surprisingly adorable compared to the rumors she had heard about his species. Perhaps this was her lucky day on terms of meeting unusual people?

He was standing carefully little toes digging into the branch bellow a bit more as his hand kept readjusting to get a proper clawed hold on the bark of the tree. Each time a finger would slip free he'd stick the claws back in to ensure he was at least somewhat secured. Occasionally looking down but quickly snapping attention back up to his new friend. His eyes watching her tail as well back and forth too and fro as it swayed. He couldn't help himself it just was very interesting to him. She ate with it but super eat! It made him wish he had one as well. Wiggling his butt a moment or two as he imagined it. "Tail Good. Yes... Good. KeeeeeEEEKKK. Me no tail. ME use this!" He'd stick out his saibamen tongue that was a bit larger then human ones. Before clamping his jaws shut and giggling a bit.
He'd blink a bit about the name. Was his name not green? Did she know the name master had never properly given perhaps. "Little people... Small.. Call me Green... Midori... I, Midori and Green then! Green Midori... Midori Green... Yes. But you! What is... ER KeeeeeEEEKKK. What is. Name you! You name! Pretty white lady's name?" Continuing to inquire for her name. Realizing he was still struggling to communicate properly. But this was aiding him greatly in improving his speech patterns with gave him a little joy that caused a warm grin to remain at his little green lips.
So she did eat meats? Or she could at least, This was good meatsies were a important part of ones food stuff. He'd tilt his head watching curiously at first as it dripped away at the apple and peeled and dissolved its skin away with ease revealing only the best parts remaining! He couldn't help but go wide eyed clearly surprised leaning forward a bit more and lightly dangerously when he spoke again. Wanting a better look as well with the more he saw. "That's good... Kikikiki. Would be nice... for coconuts... Shell hurt teeth. Hard to bite!" Opening his mouth and pointing to a chipped tooth that was still healing. Possibly would fall out soon and just be replaced by a new fang after so long. He'd close his mouth again and begin listening to her further explanation. Oddly enough seemingly to actually listen patiently now and again and actually picking up what he was taking in information wise.
"Apples, Very good. Good. GREAT! Fishies great too! But no fishies in trees... But me like apples! coconuts too... but hard on bites!" It contemplated showing her its chipped fang but realized it already had so quickly shook the thought not wanting to embarrass itself. She spoke of her armor that it could cover her body and be smooth as well as soft? He could not do that scratching his head as his was just a armored pieces that were part of him. Armor to protect him when people tried to hurt him but hurt allot when it cracked and had to heal. Although given how he was this only pushed his curiosity even further.
He'd let out a light giggle and cover his mouth as its laugh was a little raspy and seemed to accompany some of those clicks the races normally made when speaking. Clearly enthused after hearing she was like him. Or at least said she was agreeing to at least some point. It was nice given as long as he'd been on earth most just saw him as that strange little dangerous thing waddling down the road or through the forest. This was one of those good days like with the tiny tiny girl or the strange android. Kind people were just like his treasures! irreplaceable!
"FRIEND! Yes friend! Good..KeeekKikiKuuu. Friend!" Letting out a little speech of words that seemed to be as if a celebration of the concept and acceptance. "Reiki,.. Rekei,... Reikikors! Rei.....Yes Rei Rei! Midori Green and Rei Rei friends!" He was reaching out he wanted to touch her tail or perhaps the carapace of armor. Readjusting his grip several times clearly curious by it. But whether or not he actually got to touch her with a much more gentle hand then one would expect from a clawed hand. Something that would possibly be surprising from a creature most expected to be cruel and violent. But had lived long enough to grow and given its simple first orders had become rather docile unless threatened of course. But as it reached out whether or not it got its wish at this point it'd perk its ears of sorts at the hearing of the branch. Following by a shortly followed cracking sound.
"Branch? No last? What mean?" Tilting its head on that curious swivel it seemed to have before it finally let off with a loud SNAP and CRACK the branch collapsing from under its feet but its clawed hand still stuck in the tree luckily for a few moments as it nearly fell but managed for hte moment to pull itself up by a hand but had no support bellow its feet present and rather fearful in cry let out whimpers and lightly shrieks as its feet began kicking as if trying to run up the tree. But in its scared state he didn't think to stick claws in. Or look for a branch to leap too and his claws frantically kicking while his hand stuck in were just cutting into the bark not actually sticking. An they were soon smoothing off the bark to the wet under wood of the tree. Crying out as this happened clearly scared out of its little wits!
"NO FALL! NO HURTS! HELP HELP REI REI! KEEEEK!" Pleading lightly in the few moments as it could feel its little claw starting to slip as the claws were about to come out of the tree of its hand that were holding it in place.

Coconuts? The thought about using her stinger to puncture a hole into their hardened shell and then suck out the contents was an amusing thought. While she knew what a coconut was, she had never actually properly tasted one before. In the end she had a fascination, borderline an obsession with apples to the point she didn't really desire to eat anything else. In the end why go for something less than your favorite food? Nevertheless, it seemed that the Saibaman was pleased by her decision to accept its offer for a friendship. Still, the confusion about its name caused her to smile weakly, finding herself mildly amused by the fact he didn't seem to comprehend that Green and Midori meant the same thing, it simply was a different language. However, before she could explain this to the Saibaman the curiosity of the little creature had led to him trying to touch her, and while normally she would have never permitted such a thing, she lifted her tail upwards to allow him to touch it.
While the tail itself felt more or less leathery in touch, it seemed quite flexible judging from how she manipulated it, albeit the sharpness of the stinger would likely have made the Saibaman careful about touching the tip of the appendage. Still, when the branch started to crack she knew her warning had been wasted, for the Saibaman was losing his grip and was about to plummet toward the ground like a rock. Fortunately for him she seemed to had been in a good mood, for instead of letting the Saibaman make a nasty fall her tail nimbly swept forwards, and if she succeeded it would have started coiling itself around his waist while her stinger seemed to withdraw into her tail, as if she tried to ensure she wouldn't harm him. The poor green creature had been caught in mid-air, and while she lowered him toward the ground he could likely have noticed her tail was able to grow larger than it was moments ago, a thought that was confirmed when she finally released her grip on him and the tail shrunk back to a smaller form.
"Midori, I'm about to visit someone. If you wish you are more than welcome to tag along."
The girl smiled briefly at the Saibaman before turning around, gesturing toward the path she had been following earlier. She did want to visit her master's grave, especially since she had an important announcement to make. Still, she wasn't certain if the Saibaman would desire to tag along with her. Nevertheless, perhaps she could convince it a little? In the end bribery often allowed one to get much further and she certainly had some clever ideas.
"There is actually a small river near the place I'm going to. If you want to you could catch some fish."
She herself wasn't that much of a fan for the aquatic creatures. Sure, they tasted nicely when roasted but raw? That was a whole different story. If the Saibaman did decide to tag along he would have found that the path they took led them upwards along a cliff, seemingly heading toward a higher elevation. Fortunately they weren't that far away from her destination, so after a walk of merely a few minutes they reached the small wooden cottage.
"There isn't any fishing rod around, but if you head down the path opposite of the cottage you'll find a little river. Either way, my friend is over there."
However, what likely would have been confusing for the Saibaman was that Reikiko wasn't pointing toward a person, but a lone slab of stone that rested beneath an apple tree. The girl approached the grave, kneeling down before the grave, as if she was showing some humble respect toward it before she spoke, explaining with a sorrowful smile.
"This is the grave of one of my dearest friends, and the one who taught me how to protect myself. A friend and a teacher, it's why I call her my master. Master Tamako... She would have certainly loved to meet an interesting Saibaman like you Midori."
Reikiko couldn't help but chuckle at the thought of how easy those two would have gotten along. Nevertheless, she soon continued her explanation, whispering softly.
"She died because I was once a weak and fragile girl. Back then I couldn't protect those I cared for, and as a result I lost someone I held dear to me. She was almost akin to a sister to me, imagine the bitter irony when it was my real sister who killed her."
A deep sigh escaped Reikiko's lips, recalling that even now, despite being a strong warrior she was still on the verge of losing the people she loved. However, she had at least succeeded in avenging her master, by killing the one responsible for her death.
"My master was a very powerful and famous martial arts master. They used to call her the 'Crane Hermit', a role I inherited from her. Perhaps someday I shall tell you more about that. How about you Midori? Do you have any friends you want to protect? Things you want to accomplish? People who wronged you that you want to punish? Every being needs an ambition, a dream to pursue. It's only then that they can truly feel like they are alive and hold a purpose. Even a Saibaman should have one, right?"
She smiled kindly at him while awaiting his response. She wasn't certain why she cared about the strange creature she had met just moments ago. Perhaps it was because she could relate to him, because he was more alike to her than anyone else she had met so far. They were both created as disposable tools, and yet still rose above their destiny, chasing blindly for a dream to call their own, for a purpose to fulfill and for them to become someone of importance.
"If I were to have a dream of my own... I guess I simply want to become accepted by those I love. It's for that reason I strive to become the strongest in existence. Albeit it's unfortunate that my true power is really disturbing, so I would only use it when truly needed. This world doesn't need a monster like myself... That's why it's best I remain in this form, a harmless and gentle soul. At least it will make me a bit less disturbing."

He was careful at first feeling the leathery tail lightly under his green palm. His claws were lightly soft unless tensed as they lightly rubbed along the flesh of the tail. Before his fall he was seeming to enjoy it as well letting light sounds of excitement. He hadn't gotten to be so close to people like this often. Normally only his animal friends allowed him to get close let alone touch. Most people would be scared of his claws or of him alone just for being as he was and would never let his little clawed hands get near them. So this was a very special occasion for him.
Green was in a bit of a nervous shake. An seemed lightly in fear even after the tail caught him taking in lightly deep breaths a little in fear and clearly shaken. He'd calm about half way down looking around realizing what was holding him as his hands lightly pawed at the tail at his waist and his legs were swinging lightly feeling carried at the moment. Giggling a bit as he swayed lightly being up so high. Slowly as his fear faded he seemed to quickly pick his mood and amusement back up. "Thank.. You... Kukuku...Saved me! KII!" He'd likely watch the tail shrink as well eyes widdening in bewilderment as she had a magic tail! This was like one of those comic books he'd found before. But he'd rush forward quickly hugging her if possible to thank her. If he'd been allowed rubbing his cheek against her and hugging tightly for a moment and seemingly nodding several times in eagerness to tag along. He hadn't anywhere to be for now an was finding of late meeting new people lead to all sorts of adventures. But hopefully not any more training for awhile. He didn't favor sparring like he did with the little one... Gave sore spots and bruises which were not fun in the least!
"Yes... I come too. Fishies and... Er.. Fishies and trip. We go. I follow... KEEeeeeEEKK. But no fly... Me no fly." He'd say jumping up and down three times in place. To show he could jump but not fly. Looking up to the sky a little curious what it would be like. But had no idea how people pulled it off just yet. Perhaps he'd try to find a way one day to fly like the heroes or the birds he watched at times.
He did his best to keep up on the path his little legs running along behind her his blue shorts occasionally needing a little tug to get pulled back up all the way. A light clicking and clacks of his clawed toes against the ground being made not far behind. Leaving behind that strange set of foot prints and path behind him where his claws dug in as he walked. He looked at the cottage they got near after a short walk. He sniffed the air but didn't smell anyone nearby. Which was strange as people usually had distinct smells he could use to tell them apart but only the girls was being picked up. He waddled around here and there wondering off then coming near again then wondering off again only to get back to her again. Seemingly exploring or expecting someone to come out and surprise them. Responding as he seemed to be looking for something. "Rods? What is rod? Fishies caught with claw? Kek Kukuku... Catch... Stick... Eat! Cook too... when fire..." Fire wasn't easy to make and hard to come by so cooked fish were a rare delicacy but he was curious about these rods? This girl must have had secrets of fishing he knew not of. A mystery for another time perhaps he'd think mischievously.
But he wasn't sure what was happening when she kneeled before a stone. Green got a little closer and looked at her and hte stone. He'd sit down next to her but more so crossing his legs indian style then in a kneel as he didn't fully comprehend what was happening. "Grave... Friend..." He'd say softly letting out a little bit of a whimper like a injured animal would as it picked up at least some small understanding that grave implied a fallen. When people got hurt very bad like some of his animal friends and they didn't wake up. Letting out what could have been as a sigh.
It would be around the time she mentioned what happened and who the master was when Green softly leaned over his face and lightly rubbed at her side. Much like a animal would when trying to give comfort. It was something he experienced among the forest creatures now and again and seemed to in some form show what little understanding it could offer. It had a bit of a low growl that could have been compared to a purr perhaps that was like a low clicking sound of how it normally spoke. It would answer shortly after as it was able to listen carefully this moment trying to understand as best it could. Even if some bigger concepts still escaped it some of the core concepts it was still able to pick up.
He'd scratch his chin at the idea of friends and dream. Seeming to sigh a little and play with some of the dirt on the ground. Given most people weren't exactly friendly to it and only recently had at least a few been kind. "Not many. Not many friends. Kek... Very few... Most mean. Most point and KEeeeeEEk. Yell. Hit me with things... Not sure of what want do... Make more friends! Was left behind. On this place..." Thinking of back when he'd been abandoned the only saiba that wasn't 'dispatched'. "Trying to get along... Talk better... Protecting... I protect the furry friends..." He wasn't fully understanding the dreams part. But he did know what it was like to want to protect friends. His furry friends on the forest and kind animals that weren't as judgmental as people he protected when he could. From the more mean animals that would eat them without his aid.
He listened and looked at her scooting closer again and seemed to leap at his feet at on point. Arms flailing a bit and reaching out to lightly grab her shoulders with his clawed hands but softly. "But But! But but! KikikikiiiikiiiKeeeKKukukuku!" Clearly excited and a bit shaken trying to get a point across. It lost its focus and began speaking in its own language again. Letting out a grunt when it realized it had. An took a deep breath. "Er... KeeeeK NO! Not monster! We, Not monsters. Me Midori Green. You Rei Rei... but no monsters. Yea. Monster mean word. An you are no mean." The word was not a word he liked. He'd heard it allot when people threw him out of buildings or the people at the corner stores chased him out with brooms or bats. He'd extent his hands out and if she allowed hug her again. It was more a innocent child like manner given he knew humans did this to show compassion to friends. "WAIT DREAM!...Dream is... We no be seen as monsters... We seen as us, But no monsters!" Hoping while hugging if he had his hands on her at this point. Hoping she'd approve of this dream.

For a moment Reikiko couldn't help but frown at the words spoken by the Saibaman. While initially she was a bit warry when he rubbed his face against the side of her body, knowing it to be a showing of comforting animals might give, she also kept in mind the rumors that Saibaman could have some deathly acids in that head of them. Still, by now she already felt that this Saibaman was unlikely to harm her unless he was properly provoked, so in the end she merely listened to his response. It was to be expected that the Saibaman lacked friends, in the end the lack of a master likely meant his master and fellow Saibaman were likely already eliminated, or he was simply abandoned. A tragic fate, but she doubted he'd find any friendship from those. Of course the people of Earth likely wouldn't be that fond of him either. She knew from personal experience that people that looked so monstrous like them were usually not well-received in most places. Certainly, the tribal villages accepted her around the timeless lookout but that was because she was considered a guardian of the tower. That thought actually made her wonder about her adoptive father for a bit. How was Scargot doing? She couldn't sense his presence in the timeless lookout, so she assumed he was likely training and meditating somewhere in another realm.
Was this the destiny that awaited beings like them? To be considered outcasts in all communities, and merely acknowledged by a handful of people? While such thoughts provoked a feeling of anger within her, that anger quickly faded away when she felt the Saibaman gently grasp a hold of her shoulders, causing her eyes to widen in a visible look of surprise. The Saibaman was excited, to the point it had reverted back to its bestial sounds when finally it started to calm itself down to speak in a more normal manner of speech. It seemed to disagree with the concept of them being monsters. They were Midori and Rei, just Midori and Rei. It was a bit of a sweet thing to be told, and yet she was concerned about whether that was the innocent naivety of the Saibaman, or if others truly thought the same as he did. Whether they did or not, she had rose back onto her feet, and the moment the Saibaman tried to embrace her, she seemed to offer no resistance. She was too distracted by the depth of their conversation, and when the Saibaman declared his new-found dream she stared in bewilderment at him.
So that was his dream? To make the world accept them for who they were, instead of labeling them as monsters merely because of their appearance? It was a childish dream, perhaps even an impossible one if she kept in mind her interactions with people. And yet it was a beautiful dream also, one beautiful enough to cause her to smile, raising a hand to lightly pat the Saibaman's head in a gesture of affection while she replied in a soft and gentle tone.
"That's a beautiful dream Midori. However, it's also a dream that will become quite difficult to accomplish. People often are prejudging in nature, some even much more than others. The only way for your dream to become a reality is do obtain the following three things. The first is the easiest to get: The strength to protect the things dear to you. The second thing is a lot more difficult: The conviction and determination to stick with your dream. You'll have countless people to convince, what usually only happens when you do good things to make them approve of your deeds and acknowledge your existence. The final thing..."
She paused for a bit, seemingly waiting to ensure she had the Saibaman's attention before she added in an excited tone.
"Is courage! For courage is the magic that turns dreams into reality. If you become brave and continue facing all those challenges, then maybe someday your dream will become a reality and we won't be seen as monsters."
She smiled kindly at him, when suddenly she sensed something. An odd familiar presence that lurked in the shadows, and she wasn't certain if Midori had noticed it yet. They were being watched! It took a cursory gaze around the area before the one observing them finally decided to come out of hiding: a black-haired woman dressed in the outfit that might belong to a doctor or a scientist.
"Fascinating~ A Saibaman and a mass-murderer sharing a dream of becoming accepted by lesser beings like those Earthlings? You have changed sister."
It was Tsukiko, albeit the bio-android had disguised herself in her human form. She turned her gaze at the two of them, a look of amusement clearly visible on her face while she continued speaking.
"Did you forget the events at West Capitol already? You devoured the helpless refugees during the siege of West Capitol in the hope of obtaining the power to defeat the Supah Saiyajin Athren. The chance you'll be accepted is even less than that of the Saibaman."
The raven-haired woman sighed softly, her lips curving into a smile before she added onto her response.
"But I'm a benefactor, so let me lend a hand in that silly wish. Near the outskirts of this forest there is a small farmer's settlement. They seem to be struggling with all sorts of difficulties, the major one being that a pack of wolves often descends from the forest to prey onto the villagers. If you were to arrive in their moment of need, and kill the wolves you might have a foot inside the door to become accepted by the villagers. In the end you don't turn from a monster into a hero in one day."
It made sense to her, in the end this might had been an opportunity for the two of them to be seen doing something good! And she did have some time before she'd have to deal with a certain crazy robot. But what would Midori think about this?

It would enjoy the embrace while it lasted. Careful and kind avoiding accidental scratches with its claws. It had to be careful when it embraced people but was usually capable of making sure its claws or armor didn't harm those it wanted to be kind too. As in the few people it had hugged or when petting or cuddling his animal friends from the forest. He felt a pat on his head and smiled at the red on her face. People seemed to do that when the were really happy sometimes he guessed. Which in turn only widened his grins. It seemed to tilt its head as it often did when she began to speak. Trying to focus his eyes occasionally changing to a focused expression. The deep red eyes trying to make sure he didn't get distracted. It was always easy to miss little details or get distracted and miss important information. So just as with his speech he was trying at this moment to maintain a strong focus which really just made him look like he was overthinking really.
It seemed to think on what she said tugging its little shorts up once more to re secure them. Then crossing its arms over its chest but with one hand at its chin as it mimicked a thinking post it had seen others do before when it ventured among normal big people. It sighed as it already knew lots of people were mean and he was saddened to think she may have been going through similar troubles as he. At least she was not short and tiny(As Tiny) as he looked down at himself. "But But... Maybe, we could... Kekekek. Courage Yes... Make friends. No let mean people be mean!" Thinking as it was looking more and more confused as if looking for a answer after hearing her words. It didn't know what to say or what to think really beyond just that's what it wanted... So that's what it would make happen. "We friends! So it happen! No monsters! Lots of courage! KeeeeK Courage! Green become strong! Show not monster!" Tapping on his little armored chest with his clawed knuckles making a light knocking sound on the chest plate. As if to say he heart! He had courage! He was the bravest little saibamen this side of the galaxy. One hand going to his hip an the other pointing a clawed hand at himself trying to look rather heroic in pose like he'd seen in earthly comic books. Sadly it didn't look all that heroic. "Don't worry...Me fix it. Me fix... ER.. but... Er... I mean... ERR. Me make people see! No monster! Midori! Rei! Very simple! Make understand! Very Simple. Believe... Err In me!" This was followed by what appeared to be a rather interesting thumbs up perhaps with its claw in a gesture. His speech a little slower trying to make sure he was understood properly.
It was only when he saw her look in the distance and the new women came out when he realized another was present. A scent noticeable but he'd been so distracted he'd had not picked up on until just when she came into the opening. It took a step back. The look of doctors and scientists scared him as he'd been poked at once or twice in his life. People on earth curious about him and he didn't take too kindly to what they did or what they stuck you with. An those weird candies in orange bottles gave him tummy aches the few times he'd been snared by doctor types.
He was after a few moments nervously shaking but taking only a step back before retaining where he was. He didn't seem to want to flee as his footing adjusted to move closer to Rei. This was like before perhaps as he listened. Growing a little angry imagining when the wolf snarled at his rabbit friends or the injured deer. This lady said mean mean things. Mean big people! They thought they could push people around. Words could hurt... Words could hurt even more then being hit by bats and brooms sometimes.
After a few moments of hearing some of the words it began growling rather daringly in fact. Not liking some of what it was hearing. Is claws lightly twitching and seemingly shimmering a bit as it and his armor hardened lightly as if feeling a bit of rage build up inside. "No Monsters! Green! Midori!~ ERRR My name Midori! This Rei! Friend! Will show you. Will show all people!" A little green hand would reach over taking the girls hand and lightly tugging as if to get her attention. A smile but seriousness in its expression. Wolves... There was a danger. He'd faced them before. Protected friends from them and eaten them when defeated them... But that was just the way of the forest. He seemed to take a interest in the last part of what the women had said.
"Will you help! I no fly! Danger! Wolfsies hurt people! Hurt animals! KeeeeEEEEKK! We have to stop! Please! Please! Take me! Fly me!" He almost looked like he was gonna get teary eyed and was at least definitely worried. His body in a light shiver. "We no bad! No bad! You say Courage! Brave people! Kikiki, Courage Kikiki, Then help! We help! No listen to lady! Not murderer! Not Saibamen! Errr Midori and Rei! JUST Midori and REI!" thats when it stomped its little foot claws cutting into the dirt bellow. He'd look to the grave and let out a light sigh hoping she'd help. That someone who understood what it was like to be seen as a monster would agree. "We no let more people get hurt hurt! We be strong!" The idea of protecting people like like she wanted to do in the memory of her master. The Saiba showing some sense he had some understanding of feelings. An he wanting to show that they were not monsters. But heroes that could do just as much for people in danger even if they didn't always receive the gratitude they may deserve from it. At least one thing was clear it took allot to get the saibamen down. But it would also add in a little childish pulling its eye lid down and sticking its tongue out at the larger doctor lady. It had been obvious it may have not liked some of her starting comments. But in some ways was still friendly showing restraint even for a Saibamen that it didn't simply mindlessly attacked when it got a little temper flaring.

Post by Reikiko on Aug 5, 2015 6:06:31 GMT
Reikiko's eyes had narrowed into a look of seriousness, her gaze focusing on her disguised sister. It was clear that Midori didn't like her sister, and it was a dislike she shared. While she knew that Tsukiko meant her no harm, that sister was the most scheming one among the chimera sisters. It annoyed her, because she was incapable of predicting the intentions of her sister, and she hated unpredictable people. They made her wary, cause you'd never know what they were thinking, they were the most dangerous type of individuals. Still, according to her sister there was a village in need of help, and as much as Reikiko wanted to dismiss it as a trap, she knew that there was some truth to it. There was a village near the outskirts of the forest, and there were packs of wolves within the Bamboo Forest. However, until now they never truly left their territory, what confused her a little. What had driven those animals to attack the village? In the end there was more than enough prey to be found within the forest.
"Fine... I'll help."
It seemed that Reikiko's whisper had caused a mild showing of amusement from the doctor, for she chuckled in amusement. Reikiko assumed her sister must had been amused because she was playing right into her sister's hand, but then again she couldn't really decline the suggestion. She had been talking about courage and accomplishing good deeds, so surely she couldn't end up abandoning the villagers in their moment of need. A moment passed when Reikiko finally drifted her gaze at Midori, a brief smile returning on her lips at the Saibaman's determination to help out the villagers. It was an odd desire to help them, especially since Midori likely would have been considered a threat by the villagers, and yet she couldn't help but find herself touched by its selfless desire to help.
"However, if we want to reach the village fast enough I'll need to release some of my power."
The Homunculus closed her eyes for a moment, and while she could feel the aluring call of the dark blessing she ignored it, instead tapping into her own strength. A silver-ish aura started to burn around her, the energy surging wildly as she gently released her grip on the Saibaman's hand. The aura started to manifest, a cocoon-shaped barrier wrapping around her and for a few moments it pulsed with energy before suddenly shattering, revealing her matured form. She looked down at Midori once more, trying her best to smile gently in the hope of soothing any potential concerns.
"Don't worry Midori, I'm still Rei. Now let me carry you to the village shall we?"
The Homunculus attempted to scoop up the Saibaman into her arms, and if he didn't try to flail out of her grasp she would have spread her wings and started to fly into the air. The village wasn't far from their location, and by the use of their flight it only took roughly about ten minutes before they got there. A brief cursory gaze at the village beneath them shown that they were ill-prepared for a fight. Although they had seemingly just finished building a large fence around most of their settlement, the fence was unfinished for one large hole still remained at the side of the forest, and judging from the howling sounds in the distance the wolves would arrive any moment.
"Return to your homes! take all that is dear to you and flee!"
One of the elderly men of the village shouted some warnings while Reikiko descended toward the opening in the fence, gently placing the Saibaman on the ground. She knew it was likely going to be a bit restless being so close to a human settlement, but perhaps she could help reassure him a little.
"Listen Midori, those wolves will need to get through this hole in order to attack the village. So long as we can prevent them from breaking through we can likely stop them from causing any harm. Nevertheless, I think there might be something wrong about this..."
The sound of footsteps came from behind them, and if the Saibaman turned around he would likely have noticed three humans, young adults wielding what appeared to be guns looking at them with a hint of surprise in their eyes. Their leader, a woman approached the duo with a look that seemed a mixture of distrust and confusion.
"I heard what you said just now Alien. I don't know why you're willing to help defend our home, but in the face of danger any aid is appreciated. Me and my brothers got our guns, so if you can keep them away from us we'll be able to support you from on top of the fence."
Reinforcements? That was unexpected, but not something she was going to decline. In the end the two of them didn't know how many wolves they would be dealing with, so perhaps it was a wise idea to accept their aid? Nodding her head lightly in response Reikiko's response seemed a little bit colder than the softness she spoke to Midori with earlier.
"We'll keep them away from the fence, just try not to shoot my friend here."
The hunters chuckled briefly before nodding their head lightly in agreement.
"Dunno why a Saibaman would be here but, I seen weirder things in my life!"
However, the time for conversations had ended for the howls came even closer than before, and while the hunters hurried toward the fence, placing a simple crate before the hole the three of them mounted their lookouts on the fence, guns ready while Reikiko sighed deeply. Why did she sign up for this?
"If it gets dangerous, climb onto the fence Midori. I'll be able to handle some wolves easily..."
The last words sounded more like a trained predator had spoken instead of the gentle girl from before, and in the distance they could see several shadows approaching! So far she could count about three wolves heading their way, albeit they were likely just scouts for the pack!
---- 3 wolves heading toward the fence
Fence protection: 100%

Green seemed to nod and smile His little hands forming make shift fists and comically kept nodding. As if ensuring this was happening he had a comrade and they were gonna do what heroes did. Help people! Monsters didn't help people nor were they brave or had this courage magic she mentioned! This was what good people did! No matter what they looked like they were good people. An Green thought they looked rather awesome and her pretty as he'd established. He'd speak happily looking rather ecstatic. Whether it was to fight or to help or that a friend was coming with him it was unsure. Merely that he was clearly glad to help in this situation.
"Good Good! Knew you would say Yes! good person! Good us!" His finger claws fidgeting lightly with his growing enthusiasm and light nerves.
He'd giggle lightly with that cackling purr of his that was lightly gravely. But when she spoke of needing to release her power he scratched his head. Not sure what she meant exactly at first. Perhaps she had some technique or special wolfy technique to aid in this situations. But in his thoughts he was quickly snapped from the day dreaming thoughts of making his own heads or tails of what she meant when he was greeted with a visual explanation. Silvery energy was glowing around her like a warm fire but much brighter that seemed to have him a bit in shock an awe. "Oooooooooh, Pretty..." It said in a near whisper. Midori green a little lost watching and blinking at what he was seeing. She wrapped up like the butterflies! And even bursted out like one as a big person! His eyes blinked and stared on wide with his mouth lightly hanging open. "WHOA! KEK! Kikikiki KEK Kikikiki Kukuku...." A bit lost for words... at least for more normal human words. "Pretty big person now! Amazing... Like butterfly!" Nodding and accepting easily her offer as well to scoop him up.
Green looked down and as they flew occasionally carefully looking up at her wings. Wide eyes as he whispered softly. "Butterfly lady! Birdy lady! Rei Rei Fly!" Looking down as well enjoying this as he couldn't fly as he made clear before. So this was a rather special treat seeing what it was like for those who could. His back and side lightly snuggling close in her arms like a innocent animal of sorts. Purring lightly until the village was in view. Realizing this was a time to be serious. "No No.. Me hear them! Bad wolfies! Sharp teethsies!" Remembering squabbles he had with such creatures before. He had a serious look watching from high up. Letting out a huff or perhaps a sigh of the worry he felt.
His feet kicked a bit as they hit the ground. Wobbling in place as he listened to her words. One of the people running in the houses took notice of them and seemed to yell out as they ran even faster away. This made the little Saiba's shoulders slump a bit more. "Ohh..." A little saddened sound made. Trying to let it quickly pass. "Me know... how to keep wolfsies away! Run like them... Hard for them to bit through Hard Hard..." Knocking on his armor and then pointing at her own armor platting. Implying he believed they were very well defended. "Wrong? Bad? Worried?" Not sure what she meant as he began to ask and question staring curiously at her with concern in his eyes perhaps. But that was quickly over taken when he whipped around at the sound of new voices. Big people...
He gulped at the sight of the guns taking a quick stumble back likely bumping into Rei's legs and looking up at her after. The guns set a worry in him. He'd been shot at before and those things hurt like spiky pains in the butt and dinged up his hard hard armor too. Some people not many but some got made enough to use them at times. He gulped again merely nodding at their words. They wanted to help so he tried to shake it off even if having those behind him was gonna make him feel awfully nervous. As they turned away Green shivered a bit and said in nearly a silent whisper. "I no like guns... Bang bangs and hurts...." Letting out a nervous sigh.
She spoke of danger and sounded... well a little scary. But angel Rei Rei was right this was dangerous to climb over so he thought carefully. "I know! I know! I help! No let anyone get hurt!" Wanting to prove himself just like he did one day to the others he'd been meeting as well as Rei. He went to the edge of the fence and perhaps not the smartest move did at least not go 'over' the fence. But at rather quick speed his claws dug through the bottom of the fence in rather record time shooting up dirty like crazy. Snagging his shorts on the way out and having to reach back behind the fence to grab them and slip them back on comically in a hop on the other side. "Me help..." It said standing in place for a moment now on the other end.
Green began to growl seeing them in the distance his eyes growling a little wide as he sniffed the air. A big of his inner saiba instincts kicking in as he remembered how he fought before the creatures of the forest. To help the other creatures that needed protections. Its claws popped as they fidgeted and the creature began lightly tapping on its chest with fists. Letting out what could only be described as a mimic of the wolves howling. But more gravely and with the ki cackling variety of a saiba's voice. Its eyes focusing on the tree line as it snarled out. Leaning forward lightly and taking a few steps outward. Its eye twitching as it waited. Claws at the read and acid secretly boiling in its head. Breathing heavily and taking in the scents around him. Going incredibly still as if listening for snapping twigs or the animal breathing. Trying to be ready for what was to come.

While the strange pair up between an intelligent saibaman and the mighty homonculus was going on, another was deep within the forest of endless bamboo. A young woman with eyes of golden magma and fiery ruby locks of short spiky hair sat in a meditative pose among the towering stalks. This woman, this demon, was born to be a killer and a ruler. It was in her blood, her body itself was a weapon: She had rows upon rows of armor like scales growing in clusters covering her form, Claws that could rend flesh to ribbons grew from her digits, teeth that could crush and devour any prey, and a long armored tail that could be cracked like a whip against any would be foe. The dragoness though, despite all her fearsome qualities looked oddly serene as she sat, head bowed and eyes closed among the bamboo.
Serenity... One had to be...Free. Free of emotion, free of doubt, free of worry. Just: Free. Free like the ever flowing element: Water. When one gave themselves to the flow of life they attained peace and clarity like no other. The dragoness had given herself to that flow and with a slow steady exhale she would open her eyes.
Standing up, Maeve would draw her great cleaver: Fateburn and enter in her fighting stance. She stared at the stalk of bamboo before her intently, with her serene state of mind attained and activated she could take in each detail on the plant and on everything around her. The level of clarity she had allowed her to move with impeccable grace and precision. She didn't make any unnecessary movements, despite wearing the heavy and cumbersome demonic armor she was so accustomed to it didn't weigh her down or disrupt her flow. So with a single step forward she would cut her large blade across the base of the bamboo. Though only the tip of her sword would only kiss the base with a swift graze the towering stalk would slide out of place from the cut.
Maeve inhaled and took another step, this time gliding to the side as the bamboo began to fall. She let out a sharp exhale as she cut her blade through the air once more. The sharp whistling sound of metal splitting the air rung out before she once again cut a segment of the plant with the tip of her mighty blade. This dance of steps and blades continued in an instant as she cycled around the falling stalk till she finally turned on a step, stopping herself and facing her away from the target of her sword strikes. She closed her eyes, bringing the cleaver to rest against her armored pauldron in a relaxed position as she let the plant finally topple over. Thanks to her efforts, the once pillar of bamboo collapsed into a pile of small evenly chunked cuts of what it used to be.
She glanced back, her golden gaze analyzing the sight with cool indifference. She picked up a piece and traced cut with the soft underside of her thumb. If she had hit the Bamboo with reckless force the plant would have shattered into a series of splinters, but thanks to her swift precision: each chunk of bamboo had a smooth even cut. She was even angling her cuts awkwardly so that just the tip of her blade did the work but she managed to get a clean even cut despite that.
Smiling softly, the girl would drop the piece of bamboo and swing her blade before her, cutting the air as she examined her scenery with her serene clarity once more. While she tried her best to subdue her emotion in this state of mind she couldn't deny the awe she felt at how beautiful this majestic place looked while in her current state. It was as if the gods themselves painted it so one could get lost in the beauty of each and every detail. It almost made her regret tarnishing it slightly by cutting down one of the stalks. Well, they could grow back. She knew the land would heal despite her mucking about.
She was about to turn and focus on something else when a noise caught her ears causing one of them to flick lightly in alarm. She turned, eyes narrowing as she picked up on the distressed cry to flee. Was there trouble? All the way out here?! She had to step in, she wouldn't let innocents be harmed by another's actions. Be it: demon, beast, alien or man the swordswoman of fire would intercept all evil and face it with her mighty blade!
So off she went: sprinting through the great bamboo forest like a bolt of vengeful lightning. She weaved in and out of all obstacles effortlessly as her clawed feet carried her to the outskirts of the bamboo filled area. Her eyes focused on trying to pick out any potential threats before her while her hands clenched around her blade, keeping it always at the ready. As she made her way out of the forest and into the clearing she would look down to the town and try to assess the situation as quickly as possible. If there were people in danger she had no time to waste with questions, she had to devote as much as she could towards her actions.
The first odd thing she noticed was the saibaman, Mr. Green, popping out from under a fence. She recalled him from her encounter with that saiyan woman a few days prior. What was he doing out here though? Her gaze came upon a strange feminine being unlike anything she had never seen before. It didn't matter what she was, at least not at the moment. What did matter was that something was coming towards them and that fence and from the sight of the people panicking it was something quite fearsome indeed. Even with her serene state she could only see a flicker of shadows approaching the group. The way they moved seemed erratic and feral though. She didn't have time to speculate though, she had an idea of what was going on and she had to move.
Sprinting towards the town now Maeve would skirt around the barricade (eliciting a few startled cries from some of the residents that caught sight of the armored demoness bolting around their home.) She would eventually end up rounding to the front of the town beside the homunculus and her saibaman companion. She didn't waste words as she slid beside the duo, her intense golden gaze fixating on the approaching threat with her mighty sword drawn. As she stopped, her royal purple cape would flick from the sudden shift in motion while her spiky bangs billowed lightly in the wind.
"You two, if you do not wish to fight I will protect you and your town from the upcoming threat. There is no shame in refusing to fight." She merely stated, her focus unwavering. She had no idea how strong the homunculus was or just how much power she could use. All she knew was that if they didn't want to face the dangers ahead of them that she would gladly step in to cut down any and all that threatened the innocent.

The arrival of the dragon lady didn't go unnoticed, neither by the villagers nor by Reikiko. She had sensed the approach of an unfamiliar power, a presence that was more powerful than the average citizen of Earth. Of course the words that were spoken caused the Homunculus to briefly turn her head, her azure-colored eyes cast upon the female demon's face before she shook her head lightly. This was a chance for her to help the Saibaman get acknowledged by the villagers as a hero instead of a monster, an opportunity to start that beautiful dream of his. In the end the Homunculus merely replied in a tone that clearly shown no hint of hesitation or fear.
"If you end up protecting the little green lad it would be appreciated."
Making a light nod with her head into the direction Midori had rushed to, seemingly trying to get a safe vantage point on the fence the time for conversation had ended, and the owner of the feral howls finally came into view. The initial wave of the pack was a modest number, around ten in total. While Reikiko raised a hand into the air, a jolt of energy coursing through her body and manifesting physically into a highly condensed sphere of energy, the moment she tossed the projectile at the approaching predators the result made her reconfirm that there was something odd about those creatures. The burst of ki that had detonated against one of the wolves their face, a small explosion that knocked the predator several paces backwards seemed to had simply agitated the beast, ignoring the burns on his muzzle before he started rushing forwards once more.
"It seems warning shots won't work here."
Reikiko's voice had turned surprisingly cold, and although it was merely a whisper her previously gentle and calm aura started to feel cold, a presence that demanded both respect and authority judging from how her power level was steadily rising. Two wolves had broken past the forest, seemingly considering her a threat for their snarling and growling approach clearly made her become their target. Still, the moment they attempted to attack her Reikiko's body shimmered briefly, the two wolves seemingly ignorant of the faint shimmer, a mistake that would become fatal for them because the moment they bit their fangs into her arms and legs the Homunculus' body exploded in a fiery detonation, consuming the two predators in a blast. While one of them was knocked backwards from the explosion, the other one had been scorched to the bone, literally vaporized as only its skeleton remained.
The surviving predator tried to regain his footing, landing on the ground with a heavy thud and yet before he had the ability to properly retaliate the woman was seen diving downwards, a outstretched leg sweeping down at the wolf's neck, and judging from the sickening snap that could be heard, the neck of the predator was broken, causing it to fall onto the ground and remain motionless.
"Those beasts don't seem to care about a retreat either... Guess our only way to deal with them is to kill or otherwise disable them."
Still, if that was only a part of the pack she dreaded to think what would happen once the enemy reinforcements were to arrive. A pack of that size would likely demand for her to use her full power if she was to defend the village from this threat. While there had yet been any new wolves to attack her, she took the opportunity to see how Green was doing, the three gunners on the fence seemingly trying to support the Saibaman and female demon with some carefully aimed gunshots, while she was uncertain how the dragon lady herself was doing. She must had some courage to willingly throw herself into a danger like this.
Still, she couldn't help but shake off the feeling that there was something odd about those wolves. Certainly they were predators, and hunted in packs but this reckless attitude seemed to had been taken a little bit too far. Even as she approached one of the disabled wolves it still tried to bare its fangs at her, leading to Reikiko hitting it on the head with her foot, rendering it properly unconscious.
"This isn't your usual wolfish attitude..."
Mumbling under her breath she tried to focus her mind, and for a moment she could feel a faint presence within the fallen predator. While the presence was foreign to her, it was a sensation she was slightly familiar with. Those beasts were corrupted, or at least something similar to that was happening. Nevertheless, would she be able to properly save the village from a pack of deathly and savage predators?
Unfortunately the time she spend focusing on figuring out what was going on had led to one of the predators to sneak up on the distracted Reikiko, a snarling pounce accompanying the opening of his jaws, and while she succeeded in raising her arm to deflect the attack, the moment the wolf tried to bite down on her carapace it found the hardened substance preventing a proper injury, the sight of the wolf's struggle to tear through her arm causing the Homunculus to grin briefly, a hand jabbing into the wolf's chest while she whispered under her breath.
"Know your place mongrel."
A purplish glow came from within the predator, and a moment later its body imploded from within, the result kind of disturbing to a point Reikiko paid no heed to it and merely walked away from the bloody severed carapace.
"I hope you're not tired yet Dragon Lady, there are more of them heading our way."
And indeed, several howls were resounding from the distance, one of them even more threatening than all the others they heard earlier. Was it their leader? Or was something else heading their way? Even Reikiko could sense the coldness in the air, and that meant whatever was approaching them, it would be a threat for sure!

Green could see them no far off the feral shadows and sounds of wolves it made him shiver a little and low and behold though a new fighter! Saiba lady had returned rather dashingly at that on the field her cape fluttering and looking like a hero! Green would turn to Rei quickly and briefly speak softly. "Thats Saiba lady! She will help! help! Good help! We show them we no monsters!" He'd say in a small voice but giving and assured nod an a little closed clawed fist that a second later sported a thumbs up... or claw up I should say. Green was scared at first clearly as Rei shot her energy after forming her light. The wolves were scary and not just normal scary but.... Super scary. They didn't get scared like other ones did and run after strong hurt hurts! These were... Dangers wolves. An they meant business. Green took a step back but quickly snapped his eyes wide! No! If he ran that wouldn't be courage! an courage was magic that made dreams come true! or something like that he thought scratching his head thinking back on what Rei had told him! He also couldn't leave Saiba lady and Rei Rei to the danger!
Green wasted no time after that. He was stronger then you everyday wolf or creature that was sure even if he had no real concept of power yet. Life was much more simpler through the eyes of a saibamen and thinking like one as well. But now was a time for strategic fighting... and his strategy was to run for them! His hind legs kicking off in a run before long falling forward as his little hands and claws would be working in a all fours set of run trying not to let the gun shots bother him. The first one that was closed in was larger then he and he met it head one in a form of tackle. The wolfs weight over taking his as they seemed to spin along the ground. Clawing and scratching at each other like wild animals. Greens arm and shoulder bitten into by sharp fingers leaving a trail of light green blood on the grass. As they rolled and bounce in a deadly embrace of claws and fangs. The Saiba mens teeth and sharp fangs also clamped down biting and sicking down to the bone in the meet of the wolfs arm. His little eyes shaking from the sensation of the hurt hurt on its arm and shoulder. The armor has been bitten into and he had teeth marks visible that were becoming more and more in number as the wolf bit at him time an time again.
The ended their roll breaking apart from each other for a moment. Midori green spitting out a little fur and red blood of the wolves as the creature howled and had green blood in its jaws and fangs dripping along with the saliva. The beast staring him down with feral eyes of a maddened beast. When it growled and came at him again Green let out a loud screech that seemed to mimic the roar. Rushing at the creature and they'd strike nearly in sync with one another. The fangs of the wolf latching onto green's arm as a audible crunch was heard. Not breaking it but definitely cutting deep into his little forearm. "NO HURT! NO BAD! YOU BAD! KEEEEK!" He'd wrap his free arm around its neck pulling downward as the arm was in its jaws. Claws dug quickly sticking into the tendons of the side of the neck easily slicing past the fur. Growling and snarling with the wolf. But soon yelping sounds were heard mixed in with the growls and snarls unsure exactly in sound who was making them. Greens little feet dug into the ground as claws braced him from being pulled away. The wolf couldn't back up nor pull from the grasp as green braced deep in the soil with his clawed toes.
When it released his arm to pull free the blooded lightly mangled limb made strange jabbing motions in the odd angle he had as he clung to the wolfs head in a strange hug under his unripped up arm. With a second claw added it only took a few moments as in a twist and slice of strength and one final yelp Green tore back the creatures head after slicing through most the meed his claws looking crimson nearly up to the wrists now as a crack was heard when the wolfs head tore free from its body. Green in the yank back falling on his butt and the head going flying off behind him and rolling along the grass. His chest was bleeding and his armor chest piece cracked. His arm was also chewed into multiple bite wounds that stung badly as he stood up seemingly holding his arm as one held up a limb when it was hurt badly. Trying to move it carefully and wincing as he did. But when he tried to look back for Rei another was on him and taking him to the ground. Knocking him down and placing a massive paw to his chest.
As you can imagine this was not a situation he wanted to be in. Raising his little hands to the skies pushing back the things massive teeth and lower jaw each time it bit down at him. Trying to knock back the paw but the new wolf was a little bigger then the last and quickly placed both paws down on him as if trying to hold down its pray long enough to sink its fangs in and rip him to shreds. Green jabbed up claws and the wolves face was quickly covered in small cuts on its lips but just as many times as he cut it and kept it from biting his face or neck... His little hands got crunched bitten and mangled even worse. "No bad bad! bad! hurt!" A bullet however cackled by and cut the side of the wolfs cheek half on target. When it looked up for a moment Green took the opening. The wolf growled at the people when a clawed wounded hand stabbed into its neck. Using all three points of his fingers to jab as a spear. He could feel the bulge of its throat as his hand wormed around inside lightly. Squishy as it felt limb rather quickly on top of him blood raining on him in a stinky pool.
It took a few heaves and hoes to throw the heavy thing off. It even got shot again as the villagers though perhaps it was still alive when green was under the dead thing. Before he finally managed to get if off and flailed his arms as if to say don't shoot me! But in his flail and looking one of them was nearing the fence! Towards the people! This was not good! "KEeeeeEEEK NO! KeeeeEK!" Little feet like wild fire took off along the grassy field kicking up dirt and dust as he moved at a speed that had to be his best A saiba's rage taking over for the moment. Like a bull moving at nearly double the speed of the wolf now he whammed into its side just as it seemed ready to jump over the fence. Stopping it from doing so. Sending if flying off a bit as he skidded into the dirt to slow himself and as close as the wolf was his new screech was ear deafening! Wide red eyes shaking unfocused as he was over taken for the moment by pure rage. This thing was gonna hurt these people! His head split open for just a moment as burning acid sloshed out and splashed onto the creature. The result would be the wriggling wolf throwing itself about violently as it was slowly dissolved by the head acid of a saibamen as greens head slit slowly closed again. The wolf was a yelping mass of burning meat that shook and wiggled around until only bones and burning meat were left that seemed to bubble and burn away even some of the grass burning from the ground replacing with just black soil and a foul acid like odder.
Greens little body was nearly red from the blood. But bright green fluid stuck to here and there and cracks and teeth holes in his armor chest piece. His arm was mangled and both his hands were scratched and cut. He was breathing heavily a little worn out but trying to stand. His more mangled left arm seemed to be giving him trouble holding up. He was hurt but he wasn't going to let Rei down... He wasn't gonna let anyone of them down! He wasn't a stupid monster! He would show Rei Rei they weren't monsters! They were super heroes! ------ 3 more wolves down 3 - wolves remaining
